Welcome to visit Storholmen Viking village

In Storholmen archarological open air museum you will get a true experience, regardless of age. Upon entering the village you are greeted by the hammering from the smithy, the crisp sound of a flute and echo of clashing swords in the distance, the scent of smoke, tar and freshly baked bread. Here you will encounter exciting people from the east and the west, teaching you ancient handicrafts, and telling you about the ancient days.

Viking summer

Between the 9 July - 3 August mon-Fri 2012 you dont have to book your visit. Just come with your family and experience Viking Age with all your sences!
